Important Parking Regulations
With effect from Saturday 21st June 2008, Xscape Braehead will be enforcing immediate
parking fines to drivers misusing disabled parking bays. Drivers will be fined
£30 on the spot if they are not clearly displaying a disabled driver 'blue badge'
rising to £60 if not paid within 10 day's.
Xscape has specifically placed disabled parking bays at the front of the building
to ensure easy access for their disabled visitors; however some able-bodied drivers
have been taking advantage of the spaces.
Xscape Braehead hopes this action will encourage drivers to take a more responsible
attitude towards parking. As we are committed to ensuring easy access for disabled
visitors to all our facilities.
The Xscape initiative is in-line with nearby Braehead Shopping Centre which has
already enforced a similar policy.How to find us

Braehead is easily accessible by road from the whole of west and central Scotland. Based at Junction 26 (eastbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway, a new motorway junction (25a) provides dedicated westbound access roads direct to the shopping centre whilst the new eastern link road connects the A8 dual carriageway.

First's 747 AirLink links Glasgow International Airport with Glasgow City Centre
passing Xscape on its route. The service operates every 30 minutes during the
day and offers a convenient and value-for-money way to travel to Xscape. The
service also operates via Charing Cross, Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, Partick
and Renfrew.
A FirstDay, unlimited travel ticket, costs only £3.20. This ticket allows travel across First's Greater Glasgow network until 1am on the day following purchase. A single fare from Glasgow City Centre, Buchanan Bus Station to Xscape costs £2.30.
