Terms and Conditions

 

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions which apply for all slope users and activities; 

By making a booking with SNO!zone you are deemed to accept and adhere to our Terms and Conditions. A full list of terms and conditions is available upon request.

Advanced booking is available at all times to avoid disappointment.
We recommend you arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your slope time (especially during the busy winter season) in order for you to get changed and get your slope equipment so you are ready before your session starts. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accomodate your booking, or offer a transfer or refund, if you are not ready at the start time of your activity and accept no liabilty for any delays encountered.

Telephone bookings are subject to a booking fee. Calls will be charged at National Rate; 10p per minute. 

SNO!zone reserves the right to refuse admission to a lesson if you are late. No refund or transfer allowed.

Junior rates applicable to under 16 yrs of age. Those 16 yrs and over are charged at Adult rates. SNO!zone reserves the right to require proof of age.

An adult must accompany children under 10 yrs on the slope if skiing or boarding recreationally.

All rates include the cost of equipment hire but not clothing or gloves.

Cancellation of bookings must be provided with 48 hrs notice to allow refund or transfer and 7 days, in writing, for corporate, group and school bookings. Any transfers made within 48 hours notice period will be subject to availability and a charge of £5 will be made for the transfer fee.

A minimum standard applies to all recreational users - control your speed, link your turns and use the poma lift.
If these are not met you will be asked to leave the slopes with no refund.

In the absence of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, neither SNO!zone nor its employees, or agents shall be responsible for the death, personal injury or illness of any visitor whilst on SNO!zone premises.

Neither SNO!zone nor its employees or agents shall be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to valuables or any personal property that belongs to any visitor whilst on SNO!zone's premises.

Please note that slope activities are not recommended for persons who have heart, back or neck conditions, or customers who are pregnant. If you suffer from any health problems, illness or may be pregnant please consult your doctor for medical advice before booking.

Slope Policies
Please also read through the following slope policies which must be adhered to in the interests of the safety and enjoyment of all our customers!
Minimum Standard for Recreational Slope Use - Speed control - Linked turns - ability to use poma lift.                                     
If you cannot meet the minimum standard for (untutored) recreational slope use (Minimum Recreational Standard) you must have lessons prior to using the slope. Please refer to the Info Desk. 

SNO!zone reserves the right to ask you to leave the slope if you are deemed unable to meet the Minimum Recreational Standard or if we feel you are intoxicated by drink or drugs. In such cases no refund will be given.
If you have an existing medical condition which you think may affect your safety on the slope and/or your ability to meet the Minimum Recreational Standard, please seek proper medical advice before visiting SNO!zone.
When using the slope please obey all signage.
Head protection is compulsory for the following slope users;
·         any slope user doing jumps/rails or involved in any type of race training.
·         race competition or tobogganing.
·         all persons on beginner lessons.
·         all children under the age of 16 on lessons or recreational use.
Head protection is recommended for all other slope users and is available from the Sno Rental department at no extra charge. Please note all head protection is to CE standard. All head protection is regularly disinfected and the paddings are regularly replaced.
Only SNO!zone's own instructors are permitted to teach on the slope, all our instructors are fully qualified to teach and hold up to date, valid teaching qualifications.
SNO!zone may section off parts of the slope at any time for events or essential maintenance.
Slope Patrol will be on duty at all times for your safety and convenience.
Gloves, full length trousers and long sleeved tops must be worn when using the slope.

Jumps and rails will not always be open, please phone in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please note: During busy periods, queuing for the poma lift may occur, please be aware that customers on our lessons may be given priority on the poma’s during these times. 
SNO!zone's reserves the right to change the slope policies from time to time. Please read and observe the policies displayed at SNO!zone before you go on the slope as they may have changed since the last time you saw them.
Code of Conduct
Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concerns. We want to ensure that you have as much fun as possible in a safe environment. You must read and abide by the following Slope Code of Conduct carefully as it is important for everyone on the slope:

1. Respect all other slope users.
2. Control your speed.
3. Always give way to skiers/riders below and choose a route past so as not to endanger or alarm them.
4. Leave plenty of space when overtaking.
5. Look up and down the slope before starting, or entering the slope.
6. Always stop in a clearly visible place or, preferably, at the side of the slope.
7. When climbing up or down the slope always keep to the side.
8. Respect all signage.
9. In the event of an accident everybody is duty bound to assist and witnesses must provide relevant information about any accident.
10. SNO!zone reserves the right to ask you to leave the slope if you are deemed by an Xscape employee not to be abiding by the Slope Code of Conduct. In such cases no refund will be given.
